Great find in whistable, famous for its oysters and beer. We ordered plenty of oysters and they were all freshly shucked in front of your eyes. They taste fantastic and it proves to be great value. Other food like fish and chips were good and the fried oysters are also worth a go. The restaurant is next to the beach and it was a very relaxing place to be in. Would recommend highly.
What a great location to try out oysters for the first time! We loved the casual atmosphere and the fact we were able to order a couple of oysters to try with a drink before placing our full order … more oysters 🦪👌
There was a queue when we arrived as the weather was beautiful but we soon gained entry after opting for an indoor table.
They are dog friendly indoors (& outdoors) too which was great as we always have ours with us! 🐾
Due to the hot weather and the extremely unfortunate fact I was wearing a bright yellow dress, I seemed to attract millions of little black bugs when I was outside so it was perfect sitting indoors.

Superbly good fish and chips, with an idyllic view of the sea in the background. Besides The Forge, this is the place to go in my honest opinion.
Portions are good, and was delivered quickly after ordering! Made to order too! Only issue is that they're a little inconsistent in portion sizes - my partner got way more chips than I did, and we ordered the exact same dish. The tartare sauce could do with having a tad more zing, and the bread rolls are OK at best.
Atmosphere was a little flat, but then again, the other customers were of a little ruder sort than us.
